You can use a variety of fonts in Make it a Quote. This page is a comprehensive list of all available fonts.

Fallback

Since fonts are created by people, there are naturally characters that are not supported. To cover for this, Make it a Quote attempts to fall back to a different font for unsupported characters. Here is how the fallback works:

When Simplified Chinese is detected by Quote's automatic language detection
  1. Make it a Quote/Fonts/SpecifiedFont
  2. Resource Han Rounded CN
  3. Noto Sans SC
  4. M PLUS Rounded 1c
  5. Nanum Gothic
  6. IBM Plex Sans Arabic
  7. New Gardiner

When Traditional Chinese is detected by Quote's automatic language detection

To check the fonts, font fallback is disabled for all quote sample images here. This means that if characters appear garbled in a sample image, the selected font does not support those characters and the bot would normally use a fallback font instead.
