This is for global common categories. For local (language-specific) content use {{Local maintenance category}} (translation may be needed). These two templates were created to replace {{Category scheme Commons maintenance}}.
- Optional parameters
|shortcut=pagename- adds a shortcut box. Leave out the brackets.|hidden=n- prevents it from adding __HIDDENCAT__.
