This is for global common categories. For local (language-specific) content use {{Local maintenance category}} (translation may be needed). These two templates were created to replace {{Category scheme Commons maintenance}}.
The template automatically sets the following categories: Category:Hidden categories, via the magic word __HIDDENCAT__ (unless hidden=n)
