This template adds new translations automatically. This shouldn't be used to replace manually created /lang pages as it uses many expensive parser functions. See [[Template:Lang links subst]]. Sometimes it's desirable to have a few red links as it encourages new translations (although this has largely fallen out of practice). This is mainly for use in templates without a /lang page or with a really outdated one. It's also useful in creating new templates and for testing purposes. If the template/page is not transcluded much, then the parser function calls shouldn't be an issue. Just don't use it in really heavily used templates.

English: This template adds new translations automatically. This shouldn't be used to replace manually created /lang pages as it uses many expensive parser functions. See Template:Lang links subst. By default, the last link is a edit link to the /lang page. This can be changed to a subpages link by inputting 'noedit' as the second parameter (if nothing's in the first, use |2=noedit).
