| Object location | Template:Commons:Geocoding visualized | (Info) |
|---|
Brief syntax description
| Syntax | {{Object location|Degree|Minute|Second|Latitude|Degree|Minute|Second|Longitude|Information attributes}} |

Note this template is for the location of the main subject of the photograph (features, landmarks, structures etc) and can also be used to point to a nearby feature when giving the location of a plant or animal where an exact location is not appropriate (eg where you do not want to reveal the exact location of a rare plant). Additionally it may be appropriate to specify the location and heading of the camera taking the photograph - use {{Location}}. See Commons:Geocoding#Parameters for more information.
This template also outputs a Geo microformat.
