"1-N" means from one to many.

Template:Cat see also (Edit Discussion links Page history) – (box or inline) "See also Categories" link to 1-N related categories.
Template:For2 (Edit Discussion links Page history) – "For" a single alternative page with explanation.
Template:Otheruses (Edit Discussion links Page history) – As "For2" with an explanation of the current page.
Template:Distinguish (Edit Discussion links Page history) – "Not to be confused with" link to 1-N related pages.
Template:Cat disambig (Edit Discussion links Page history) – (box or inline) "See also Categories" link from category with ambiguous names to 1-N unrelated categories.

What: {{Templates linking contents}}
Where: Appended to the documentation of each template listed above.
Why: Common list summarizing and comparing the main templates available for user-oriented links between contents in galleries, categories, images, and sister projects. Excluded are disambiguation and redirection templates such as {{For2}}, and meta-templates such as {{Lts}}, etc.
Notes: The template embeds its own heading so that section-editing edits the transcluded instead of the transcluder.
